India has signed its first long-term green hydrogen export agreement with the Netherlands. Under the deal, Indian companies will supply over 100,000 tons of green hydrogen annually starting 2026. The fuel will be generated from solar-powered electrolysis in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The Netherlands will use it for heavy transport and ammonia-based industries. The government sees this as a milestone toward making India a global hub for clean energy exports. Ports like Kandla and Paradip are being upgraded to handle hydrogen shipments.
